As the holidays dawn, we just wanted to thank you for supporting West Oceanfront Magazine in whatever form your support has taken; maybe you’ve read some of our recent articles, followed us on Instagram or commented on one of our posts. Know that you have all our gratitude and more for embarking on this journey with us.
We are a small but mighty publication just five weeks old, determined to share the story of Balboa Peninsula and Newport Beach with readers who warrant more.
West Oceanfront Magazine began from the simple idea that there really isn’t one single source of high-quality community news around town. Yes, there are well-known sites that do an adequate job of blanketing Orange County residents with information but it’s certainly not a detailed, boots-on-the-ground approach to localized storytelling.
As we mentioned, West Oceanfront Magazine seeks to be more. We have to be more. The community of Newport Beach demands it; the many vibrant, small businesses here deserve it. This area is defined by its local legends, its passionate entrepreneurs, by you, and historically, the Peninsula has been underserved by the lack of a hyper-local publication … until now.
So thank you again for supporting West Oceanfront Magazine. Please remember to keep us in mind once the glitz and glamour of the holiday season subsides. Because the stories we seek aren’t ours, they’re yours. And we’re always one email away from telling them.
