The Triangle to Offer Dining Discounts for Newport Beach Film Festivalgoers

Here’s the deal: You already know the Newport Beach Film Festival is coming to town this week (we’ve written about it here and here). What you might not know is that a select group of delicious and cinematic-minded restaurants are featuring discounts for all those who attend a movie at Starlight Triangle Cinemas at The Triangle in Costa Mesa.

To indulge, show your Starlight Cinema ticket stubs or proof-of-purchase on your phone at participating locations throughout The Triangle before or after you watch a festival film. And just like movie magic, you’ll get access specially priced menu items. Here’s where to go:

La Vida Cantina
One of La Vida Cantina’s signature dishes is the namesake La Vida Cantina burrito, and can be enjoyed at a discount when presenting Newport Beach Film Festival tickets at Starlight Cinemas at The Triangle.

This Mexican favorite will offer festival attendees 15% off full-price items, (excluding specials and happy hour). Ideal for al fresco dining, La Vida Cantina has a spacious patio with inviting palapas where visitors to a vacation along the Mexican Riviera.

Tavern + Bowl
The Bacon Jam Burger from Tavern + Bowl is just one of many entrees available for a discount when you present your tickets to a Newport Beach Film Festival showing at Starlight Cinemas at The Triangle.

This neighborhood bowling hangout will also offer 15% off for festival patrons.

If you catch and early movie and head to Tavern+Bowl for dinner, you can enjoy a round or two of bowling to finish the evening. Tavern + Bowl is located on the lower level of The Triangle, and is open Sunday through Thursday until midnight, and Friday and Saturday until 2 a.m. Reservations can be made by calling (949) 438-2320.

H20 Sushi & Izakaya

H20 Sushi & Izakaya is offering a 20% discount on its menu, except for Happy Hour pricing and All You Can Eat Sushi.

Open Sunday through Wednesday until 11 p.m., and Thursday through Saturday until midnight, H20 Sushi is located on the lower level of The Triangle, and reservations can be made by calling (949) 515.7400.

Creamistry

As a post-movie or dinner treat, Creamistry at The Triangle is offering a free topping with the purchase of an ice cream to customers who show their movie stubs or proof of purchase for Newport Beach Film Festival tickets. Creamistry is open until 10:30 p.m. nightly.
