YEP, the Lido Marina Village Farmers Market Is Back!

Like sock tans and the smell of sunscreen as you walk a tourist-packed beach, the Lido Marina Village Farmers Market is BACK! The market, once a bustling site for local fare plucked straight from our fair Southern California earth, disappeared years ago when construction first commenced on Lido Marina VIllage.

But now … NOW … the market has returned and with it, the promise of fresh produce, flowers, cheese, fish and nuts. (Information on what’ll be sold comes courtesy of the Lido Marina Village site, which you can check out here.)

Basically: Every Wednesday from 1 – 6 p.m., you can stop by the newly reinstated Farmers Market and check out all that the vendors have to offer.

The Farmers Market at Lido Marina Village will be a welcomed mid-week respite for those health enthusiasts who can’t wait until Sunday morning to pick up their fruits and veggies at the Farmers Market at McFadden Plaza by Newport Pier. (FYI, the market there happens from about 8:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. each Sunday of the year.) Finally, if you’re craving some not-frozen, local and sustainable food on a Wednesday afternoon, you can simply visit Lido Marina Village and go to farm-to-table town.

OK, so who’s excited for the return of the Lido Marina Village Farmers Market?!
